HEALTH AND MEDICINE

Good Day.

I am sharing you today what they say about pharma, doctor of medicines, and diseases.   “Throughout history we have known that the best medicine, is no medicine, but rather what we find in nature.  Why haven't most doctors been listening?”

You got it right!

I am advocating cure by alternative medicine.
Read and enjoy (quoted from www.spice-of-life.com):

Famous Quotes:

"One-quarter of what you eat keeps you alive. The other three-quarters keeps your doctor Alive." (Hieroglyph found in an ancient Egyptian tomb.)

"At the end of times the merchants of the word will deceive the nations of the world through Their Pharmacia." (Rev 18:23)

"Doctors give drugs of which they know little, into bodies, of which they know less, for Diseases of which they know nothing at all." (Voltaire)

"The physician should not treat the disease but the patient who is suffering from it." (Maimonides)

"Let food be thy medicine, and let thy medicine be food." (Hippocrates)

"And we have made of ourselves living cesspools, and driven doctors to invent names for Our diseases." (Plato)

"The carpenter desires timber, the physician disease." (Rig Veda IX. 7.9)

"What ails the physician that he dies of the disease. That he would have cured in time gone by? There died alike he who administered the drug and he who took it, and he who Imported and sold the drug, and he who bought it." (Verses upon the death in Baghdad of  The physician Yuhanna ibn Masawayh in the year 857)

"The work of the doctor will, in the future, be ever more that of an educator, and ever less That of a man who treats ailments." (Lord Horder)

"All drugs are poisons the benefit depends on the dosage." (Philippus Theophrastrus Bombast That of Aureolus Paracelsus (1493-1541)

"All that man needs for health and healing has been provided by God in nature, the Challenge of science is to find it." (Philippus Theophrastrus Bombast that of Aureolus Paracelsus (1493-1541)

"I find medicine is the best of all trades because whether you do any good or not you still Get your money." (Moliere: "A Physician in Spite of Himself," 1664)

"Unless we put medical freedom into the Constitution, the time will come when medicine Will organize into an undercover dictatorship to restrict the art of healing to one class of Men and deny equal privileges to others; the Constitution of the Republic should make a Special privilege for medical freedoms as well as religious freedom." (Benjamin Rush, MD.,  a signer of the Declaration of Independence and personal physician to George Washington)

"The doctor of the future will no longer treat the human frame with drugs, but rather will Cure and prevent disease with nutrition." (Thomas Edison)

"If we doctors threw all our medicines into the sea, it would be that much better for our Patients and that much worse for the fishes." (Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendel Holmes, MD)

"We must admit that we have never fought the homeopath on matters of principle. We Fought them because they came into our community and got the business."  (Dr. J.N. McCormack, AMA, 1903)

"The human body heals itself and nutrition provides the resources to accomplish the task." (Roger Williams Ph.D. (1971)

"It's supposed to be a secret, but I'll tell you anyway. We doctors do nothing. We only help And encourage the doctor within." (Albert Schweitzer, M.D.)

"One of the biggest tragedies of human civilization is the precedents of chemical therapy Over nutrition. It's a substitution of artificial therapy over nature, of poisons over food, in Which we are feeding people poisons trying to correct the reactions of starvation."
(Dr. Royal Lee, January 12, 1951)

Other QUOTES

"What makes me so certain that the natural human lifespan is far in excess of the actual one is this. Among all my autopsies (and I have performed over 1000), I have never seen a person who died of old age. In fact, I do not think that anyone has ever died of old age yet. We invariably die because one vital part has worn out too early in proportion to the rest of the body." (Dr. Hans Selye)

"God, in His infinite wisdom, neglected nothing and if we would eat our food without trying to improve, change or refine it, thereby destroying its life-giving elements, it would meet all requirements of the body." (Jethro Kloss)

"You cannot poison your body into health with drugs, chemo or radiation. ‘Health’ can only be achieved with healthful living." (T.C. Fry)

“According to the World Health Organization (WHO), America is the 37th healthiest nation in the world. Basically the American Medical Association's team is in 37th place. When was the last time you took the word of a 37th place team as Gospel?”  (Steve Plog - Founder, Results Project)

'Bring a fig poultice,' Isaiah said, 'apply it to the ulcer and he will recover.'  (Isaiah 38:21 NJB)

“Having said this, he spat on the ground, made a paste with the spittle, put this over the eyes of the blind man, and said to him, 'Go and wash in the Pool of Siloam' (the name means 'one who has been sent'). So he went off and washed and came back able to see. (John 9:6-7 NJB)

“And the earth hath He appointed for His creatures Wherein are fruit and sheathed palm trees, Husked grain and scented herb. Which is it of these favors of your Lord that ye deny?” (Qur'an 55:10-13)

AM SORRY BUT I HAVE TO UNDERSCORE THIS:
"The cell is immortal. It is merely the fluid in which it floats that degenerates. Renew this fluid at regular intervals, give the cells what they require for nutrition, and as far as we know, the pulsation of life can go on forever." (Dr. Alexis Carrell - Nobel prize winner)

PERSONALLY, I AM CONVINCED THAT THIS IS WHAT DOKTOR ALTERNATIBO ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE CLINIC/WELLNESS CENTER AND RESEARCH FACILITIES ARE DOING.  AND DOK ALTERNATIBO IS IN MY COUNTRY THE PHILIPPINES.

DOK ALTERNATIBO MEDICINE CLINIC – A Personal View

The Dok Alternatibo Herbal Medicine Clinic is a ward of many possibilities.  They address the physician as Dok which is a misspelled shortcut for Doctor.  They have an invention which is a medicinal formula; a liniment which is a food supplement; a parfum that cures singao; a sex solution which is also good for goiter and tonsillitis, a beauty cream that cures acne and ugahip, and a lot of survivors who are very much different than what we see on TV.   On top of these is the Dok Alternatibo Wellness Center, a place of ultimate recourse for cases that hospitals reject.

This may seem out of this world but all these are happening with promising results at any Dok Alternatibo Herbal Medicine Clinic and Health Centers all over the Philippines and quite soon - the world.

Why Dok instead of Doc?
Doctors in herbal medicine clinics, who are non-MDs, are referred to as Doks.  The owner himself is a former broadcaster turn inventor who devoted himself to promote alternative medicine healing.  He is the founder and current Chairman of Dok Alternatibo Healing Ministry Association, Inc. which is based in Digos, Davao City with close to 60 branches nationwide today.  He is also the current President of the Philippine Society of Traditional and Alternative Medicine, Inc., a DOST scholar and a multi-awardee of his own right.

To those seeking cure, he is known as Dok Edgar Lozada Delibo, Doctor of Ministry in Alternative Medicine (confirmed by the Open Seminary in 2007).  The company is duly registered with the FDA as a manufacturer with a license to operate as a distributor.  Its main business is herbal products/clinic distribution and therapeutic massage as part of alternative medicine practice.

I have not met Dok Ed but I can say that he should be someone with passion, mission, and vision.  If he is a kind of a preacher, I have not heard this topic discussed among so many of the clinic’s patients.  Dok Ed’s interest is to prove to the world that all degenerative diseases can be cured using only his formula.

He made it to the headlines along with his award-winning invention which is actually a medicinal formula to treat any kind of a degenerative disease.  His invention the Dok F Fulvic Mineral is the second place winner as the Most Outstanding Creative Resarch (TUKLAS) for the anti-hypertensive/Anti-Diabetic Herbal composition in the Mindanao Inventions Contest and Expo 2009.  It is also the 3rd prize winner in Utility Model Contest as Herbal Food Supplement/Promote Good Health in the same competition.  Dok F Fulvic Mineral almost beat the top prize winner which is a machinery invention.

Cure using herbal compositions is rarely evaluated but cases are always reported through testimonies of people who are cured after using the product for some time.  There are also cases wherein people claim relief of other ailments too apart from what they come to complain for.   Dok Alternatibo clinics are flooded with these kinds of testimonies of cure and the list is growing everyday.  It is through these testimonies that a herbal preparation is proven a better remedy for a kind of illness.

Dok F Fulvic Mineral
This is the award-winning formula invented by Dok Ed.  Taken orally fulvic mineral is food for the cell.  It makes the cell walls permeable for easier transport of nutrients, extending the time for it to remain active and available.  It is anti-hypertensive, anti-diabetic, anti-blood clotting, anti-arrest stroke, and a non-acidic energy drink.  Applied externally it heals open wound, cut, and abrasion.  It is best for athlete’s foot, rashes, skin irritation and insect bites.  It is classified as FOOD SUPPLEMENT.

Haplus
Applied externally, it is a kind of a liniment indicated for immediate relief of muscle pains, cough, nasal congestion, flu and upper respiratory problems.  Testimonies are piling up that it is an effective relief/cure for asthma attack and works better if taken orally.  The Haplus has been upgraded as FOOD SUPPLEMENT.

Eau de Toillette
Dok Alternatibo parfums contain plant oils which have numerous properties such as bactericide, antiseptic, stimulating and anti-inflamatory.  It easily sooths, cleanses and reduce minor surface inflammation.  By people’s testimonies, Dok Alternatibo eau de toilette are found very effective for canker sores.

Sexolution
Dok Alternatibo Sexolution excites sex life that enhances circulation and increases supply of oxygen to the brain and sexual organ.  It restores and enhances sexual desire and helps solve erectile dysfunction and ejaculation disorders.   And again by people’s testimonies it is found good for tonsillitis, goiter, fever, cough, harshness of voice.  It can be administered ORALLY by drops below the tongue.

Age-Defying Cream
Dok Alternatibo Cream is made of vegetable oil, coco milk, egg powder, the award-winning Fulvic Mineral, and other ionic concentrated minerals.  It takes away dirt and oil from skin for a soft, smooth, and glowing complexion without side effects.  It has been found to cure ogahip, acne, and anything with a pussy appearance on the skin through testimonies of cure from people.

Dok Alternatibo has yet over twenty compositions for cure and maintenance that are not covered here.

In Cebu City
Dok Alternatibo has a clinic in Cebu City just across the USC Gym, along Sanciangko Street.  If you wish to visit the clinic, make it on a Saturday where an on-going lecture is given by Dok Ludie Villasor.  I assure you that in the seminars, you will learn that a red rose is a good source of home-made oil for skin care, saging gardaba is good for sakit sa koto-koto, chili kulikot, sayote, and tanglad are alternative maintenance to control/improve blood pressure and you will discover that bila-bila and tambuko are shrubs of cure too.

You too will get a free health assessment check-up and learn of the efficacy of Dok Alternatibo’s HEALING FORMULAS for any type of ailments such as cancer, diabetes, heart ailments, hepatitis, clogged arteries, psoriasis, gall-bladder stone, insomia, asthma, heart failure, kidney failure, constipation, hyperacidity, arthritis, high cholesterol, toxic goiter, eye diseases, and many more.

Finally, you will come to know people who have been cured the Dok Alternatibo Way – the Survivors!

(All of the above are personal views of this writer and any erroneous entry is his own fault).

THE LEAVES OF LIFE

ABW  Leaves of Life is a natural, organic, herbal dietary supplement made of pure Alfalfa, Barley and Wheatgrass grown in Australia and is sold at Mercury Drugstores nationwide.  It cost only P10.00 each and maybe started at 2-3 caps a day then reduced to only one cap after 2-3 weeks.

The following is an assembled information intended especially for Senior Citizens who may wish to become more energetic, a little bit younger, and who dreams of good health.  The info herein are copied verbatim from internet sources http://www.abwhealth.com/ and  http://www.nutritional-supplements-health-guide.com/  for the purpose of promoting good health and not for increase sale or commission.

What is Alfalfa?
Alfalfa (Medicago sativa) is an herb that grows in many places and climates. It grows to up to about 3 feet and bears flowers which are bluish-violet in color. It is classified not as a leafy vegetable as you might think, but as a legume. It has been used mainly as livestock feed.

Alfalfa as a Health Food
Alfalfa is one of the most nutrient-rich food sources. The benefits of alfalfa stem from the fact that it is rich in vitamins including vitamins A, B6, B12, C, D, E and K. It is also especially rich in minerals such as magnesium, calcium, iron, phosphorus and potassium, all in easily digestible forms. It is also a natural source of fluoride, fiber, antioxidants (such as chlorophyll), and phytonutrients (such as octacosanol, carotenoids and saponins). It is said to contain over 300 nutrients and phytonutrients.

Health Benefits of Alfalfa
-Alfalfa and cholesterol. Alfalfa (leaves) has been seen to reduce cholesterol and reduces blood sugar levels, as well.
-Alfalfa and digestion. Alfalfa is enriched with fibers such that they facilitate digestion. Legumes are naturally good for the digestive system.
-Alfalfa for detoxification. Alfalfa reportedly has the ability to improve liver health and detoxifies the body from harmful toxins.
-Alfalfa and menopause. Alfalfa alleviates symptoms of menopause and makes post-menopausal side effects such as hot flashes more manageable.
-Alfalfa for muscle and joint problems. Supplementation with alfalfa is effective in relieving stiffness and pain caused by muscle problems, arthritis and bursitis.

Other Benefits. Alfalfa has also been reported to treat kidney, bladder and even prostate problems, and is seen to be effective for treating urinary track infection. It also has the ability to increase energy levels and reduce fatigue.

Barley has been used for human consumption for the longest time. This is not only because it adds a unique delightful flavor to dishes, but because it adds nutritional value to the food we eat.

Health Benefits of Barley
Intake of barley is very likely to help you maintain your overall health in the long term. These whole grains are rich in protein, vitamins, minerals and amino acids essential for our health. More importantly, barley is one of the richest sources of both soluble and insoluble fiber.

Insoluble fiber aids in proper excretion of waste products in the body, while soluble fiber (known as beta glucan) mixes with liquid, binds to fatty substances and allows them to leave the body. Barley is also seen to be rich in tocotrienols, which is an antioxidant which helps lessen risk for contracting heart disease and cholesterol problems.

Wheat and Barley
The health benefits of wheat and barley are very comparable, and some claim that they are one and the same. However, barley is rich in both soluble and insoluble fiber, while wheat is only rich in the latter. While both can help prevent "roughage" during excretion, barley also helps promote general heart health.

All forms of barley contains almost all vitamins, minerals, amino acids and fiber that your body needs. However, the value of barley nutrition and its effect on your health depends largely on the type of barley that you consume. The figures may vary largely, but the main rule

Kinds of Barley
Barley nutrition today comes in all forms possible. The grain, the leaves and the extract of barley are all used as food sources, especially Barley grass.

Barley Grass, most especially on the young leaves, are excellent sources of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants. Though it does not contain as much dietary fiber as can be found in barley grains, it contains chlorophyll which can help detoxify your body from harmful toxins.

Wheatgrass
What is wheatgrass, anyway? Wheatgrass is the term for the young Agropyron plants, which are related to wheat. These plants look like lawn grass in its early stages. Wheatgrass is rich in a vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, chlorophyll and fiber, but then again you probably might know this much already.

Wheatgrass Juice Benefits
People generally take in wheatgrass by crushing the leaves into juice and drinking the wheatgrass extract regularly. Commercially, wheatgrass juice powder and frozen wheatgrass juice are largely available for those who lead busy lifestyles.

Wheatgrass nutrition through juicing has been seen to provide immense benefits. If you want to rid your body of toxins, increase your energy levels, regularize bowel movement, strengthen your immune system or simply enhance your health by boosting your vitamin and mineral intake, drinking wheatgrass juice once or twice a day can easily do the trick.

Wheatgrass Medicinal Benefits
Wheatgrass research has shown the potential of wheatgrass as medicinal plant. In fact, it has been regarded to be "The Medicinal Grass." The nutritional content in wheatgrass makes it a powerful cleanser and helps rid of the toxins in the body. Its chlorophyll content has a drying effect on the sinus and helps relieve colds on one hand, and increase hemoglobin production in another.

Furthermore, it has anti-bacterial properties and helps in promoting wound healing. It plays a role in keeping the bones and teeth strong and healthy. Wheatgrass has also been seen to improve sugar disorders such as diabetes. Surprisingly, this plant also displays some anti-ageing properties and can keep your hair from greying.

More Benefits of Wheatgrass Nutrition
One of the most heralded benefits of wheatgrass therapy is its effect on cancer. Many people strongly believe in the benefits of wheatgrass in treating and preventing cancer. It helps neutralize the toxins and free radicals in the body.

Aside from that, it promotes alkalinity to fight off acid-loving cancer cells. Moreover, wheatgrass nutrition has also been seen to have positive effects on reducing the risk of heart diseases and high blood pressure.

Side Effects of Wheatgrass
As it is a natural product, wheatgrass nutrition does not pose a significant risk for those who take them at normal levels. However, if you have not taken it before, there may be chances of mild side effects which can include stomach disorder, nausea and headache.

However, there is generally no need to take in more than a few glasses each day, and if you have tasted it at least once, you might not want to take in more than necessary.

You must pay careful attention on your wheatgrass source as some undesirable side effects may be caused by soil contamination. Taking megadoses of wheatgrass supplements can also cause unpleasant but mild side effects.

Wheatgrass Supplements
If you are not a fan of herbal juices and would like to spare yourself of the agony of it, there are wheatgrass supplements that you can take. Wheatgrass nutrition through dietary supplements can be achieved by taking in a tablet twice a day before meals.

These days, more and more people seem to be taking chlorophyll supplements as part of their daily dietary supplementation. This is mainly because of the many claimed benefits that chlorophyll is said to offer.

CHLOROPHYLL IS PRESENT IN ALFALFA, BARLEY, AND WHEATGRASS

What is Chlorophyll?
Chlorophyll is the green pigmentation found in plants. It is central and important as it is responsible for absorbing and harnessing sunlight, which is in turn essential for plants to go through photosynthesis.

Chlorophyll Health Benefits
The benefits of chlorophyll is not only limited to plants. Chlorophyll offers a multitude of benefits to humans. It is important to not that chlorophyll and human blood are similar in structures and composition, except for its central metal (chlorophyll has magnesium while human blood has iron).

Some of its health benefits include the following:
-antioxidant properties to fight free radicals ridding out toxins that are taken in due to pollution, smoking and from food stimulates the production of red blood cells
-helps in good blood circulation
-anti carcinogenic properties: prevention and delay of certain diseases such as cancer (caused by free radicals)
-helps in wound healing
-a good deodorizer for bad breath or body odor

Chlorophyll Sources:   Where is Chlorophyll Found?
Leafy vegetables are the main foods that are rich in chlorophyll content. The amount of chlorophyll found in each vegetable varies. In spinach, for example, chlorophyll is present by as high as 1% based on dry weight estimation. Fruits do not have significant amounts as compared to vegetable sources. Teas, most especially green tea, are good sources of chlorophyll as well. However, the amounts of chlorophyll that you intake is not as high as when they are taken as chlorophyll supplements.

Chlorophyll Supplements
Chlorophyll supplements now flood the market with different brands and dosages. They come in the form of chlorophyll extract (or chlorophyll herb extract), chlorophyll capsules, chlorophyll tablets or chlorophyll powder. All these forms differ only in the manner by which they were produced, but they are all one and the same. Their doses vary as well. For example, one chlorophyll capsule is equivalent to three teaspoons of liquid chlorophyll. Chlorophyll powders are usually incorporated with other natural herbs such as alfalfa and green tea. Capsule supplements, on the other hand, come in 100 to 600 milligram doses.

Who Should Take Them?
Taking chlorophyll supplements will allow you to experience the different health benefits of chlorophyll that were mentioned above. Chlorophyll is strongly recommended for anemic and border-line anemic patients. It is also useful for people who have bone diseases and arthritis, and as an alternative for antibacterial medications. Chlorophyll supplements are also beneficial for smokers, for those who eat unhealthy food and for those exposed to pollution - all for toxin eradication purposes. They are widely-used as well as a measure for eliminating body odors and bad breath.

Pagpalit ug bugas, lamas, uling - 180.00
Ba-on nga wala mahatag -  100.00

Hain na man sila karon?

Asa man sila mihikling?
